The Tano Batak Indigenous People had special guests from the National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) in mid-March 2022. The group, led by the Coordinator of the Human Rights Enforcement Subcommission / Mediation Commissioner Hariansyah, was to follow up on complaints from the Tano Batak Indigenous People on various acts of violence committed by PT Toba Pulp Lestari (TPL).
