In the farmland behind the village, COPINH is supporting an indigenous farming cooperative who are in a deadly stand off with a well-armed, well-connected group trying to privatise and sell off their land. On Tuesday the 30th I was invited to San Juan with COPINH and saw a part of their struggle.
