On March 15-19, 2017, AMAN will hold the Vth Indigenous Peoples Congress of the Archipelago (KMAN V) in Tanjung Gusta Village, North Sumatra. The event is expected to be attended by around 5,000 participants representing AMAN member Indigenous communities, national and international organizations, embassies, and the Government of Indonesia. KMAN V will determine the direction of the Indigenous Peoples' struggle in Indonesia for the next five years.
