COPORWA is a non-governmental organization for the Community of Potters of Rwanda. COPORWA was created in May 1995 to defend and protect the rights of the Potter community, also known as Historically Marginalized People (HMP) by the Constitution of Rwanda and as the Batwa Indigenous People by the United Nations. COPORWA is devoted to promoting the rights of Historically Marginalized People (HMP), socio-economic development, and good governance and policy with respect to the Potter community.
