Madonna Mamdouh Metry, a final year student in the Department of Hispanic Philology at the University of Ain Shams. She was the beneficiary of a scholarship from the Learn Africa program in the 2018/2019 academic year, thanks to which she studied a Spanish Language and Culture Course at the University of La Rioja. She lives with her retired parents in Cairo, Egypt.
