This course focuses on how to practically apply the right of Indigenous peoples to free, prior and informed consent (FPIC) at all stages of the project cycle. The course describes each of the six recommended steps in the process, and how they fit with each phase of the project. In addition, the course explains which international frameworks are most relevant to FPIC.
