Kurdish Studies No. 7

Until the beginning of the Second World War, relations between Muslims and Jews in Kurdistan saw no significant event. The Jews we interviewed characterized their relations with Muslim Kurds as generally good. The status of these Jews and their relations with the neighborhood were notably better in the towns of Akra and Zakho than in the other Kurdish urban centres.
